Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the most common questions about Titan, the Home Depot to Google Calendar sync tool.

Getting Started

What is Titan?

Titan is a Chrome extension (Manifest V3) that automatically syncs Home Depot schedules from Workforce Tool (WFT) into Google Calendar so you do not need to manually type shifts.

Who is Titan for?

Titan is built for Home Depot associates who want their work shifts visible in Google Calendar next to school, family, or personal events.

What do I need to use Titan?
  • Google Chrome (Safari, Microsoft Edge and Chromium browsers are not supported at the moment)
  • Access to Workforce Tool (WFT)
  • A Google account with Google Calendar

How Titan Works

How does Titan actually sync my schedule?

Titan uses automation to log into Workforce Tool, handle Cloudflare, retrieve your schedule, convert shifts into calendar events, compare them to cached data, and then sync updates to Google Calendar using official APIs.

Is the sync one-way or two-way?

Titan is one-way. It reads Home Depot WFT → writes to Google Calendar. It does not modify your schedule inside Home Depot systems.

Sync Behavior

Does my schedule automatically sync?

No, not at the moment. After any changes to your schedule, you should sync your calendar to update events.

Privacy & Security

Does Titan store my Home Depot or Google passwords?

Titan does not store your Google password. Google authentication is handled using OAuth. Workforce credentials are stored securely in Chrome storage only if you explicitly save them.

Does Titan send my data to any external servers?

Titan runs locally and uses Google APIs for Calendar sync. Review the Privacy Policy for exact storage and handling details.

Trust, Cost, and Support

Is Titan affiliated with Home Depot or Google?

No. Titan is an independent personal project and is not endorsed or officially affiliated with Home Depot or Google.

Is Titan free?

Yes, Titan is currently free. If that ever changes, you will be notified clearly.
