Website Analytics

How titanwft.net measures site usage, and what it never touches.

What we use

This website uses PostHog, an open-source analytics platform, to understand how visitors interact with titanwft.net. Analytics help us improve the site. For example, knowing which pages visitors read before installing the extension lets us make those pages more useful.

Analytics are opt-in. PostHog does not load at all until you click Accept on the consent banner. If you decline, or never interact with the banner, no data is ever sent.

What is collected

When you accept, PostHog may record:

  • Pages you visit on titanwft.net and how long you spend on them.
  • Which page you came from (referrer) and which you navigate to next.
  • General browser and device type (e.g. desktop Chrome, mobile Safari).
  • Country-level location derived from your IP address. The full IP address is not stored.
  • Interactions with specific UI elements, such as button clicks, when we instrument them.

What is never collected

  • Your name, email address, or any account credentials.
  • Anything you type into any form on the site.
  • Data from the Titan browser extension itself. Extension activity is entirely separate.
  • Your Home Depot employee ID, schedule, or any work-related information.
  • Precise location beyond country level.

PostHog is configured with person_profiles: "identified_only", meaning no persistent user profile is created for anonymous visitors.

How to opt out

If you previously accepted and want to withdraw consent, open your browser's developer tools (F12), go to Application → Local Storage → titanwft.net, and delete the titan_analytics_consent key. The consent banner will reappear on your next visit so you can choose Decline.

You can also install a browser-level content blocker such as uBlock Origin, which will prevent PostHog from loading regardless of your stored preference.

Data retention and PostHog's policy

Analytics events are retained for one year and are not shared with or sold to third parties. PostHog stores data on servers in the United States. For full details on how PostHog handles data on their end, see PostHog's Privacy Policy.

This analytics setup is specific to the titanwft.net website. For privacy information about the Titan browser extension, see the Titan Privacy Policy.
